cartrige parts
There are 4 parts to all firearm cases. They are the case, primer, powder, and the bullet. When I first started out I had my choice of parts to choose from, but, after our new Pres. came into office the parts became scarce. I had to buy what I could get, as I could get them. I quickly found out that replacement parts are not equal, especially when you shoot at distances of 800yds. or longer. I have found that the primer is the most important part of shooting at these distances.I have always used Federal primers since I was young, now that these parts are scarce I began using other primers so I still could shoot.I also quickly found out that these other primers failed to give me the groups that I was use to. Now don't get me wrong other primers are all right for shooters that shoot at 300 yds. or less. I found that different brands of primers changed the groups that I was use to (1.5") to groups as big as 6" at 800yds.
Now don't get me wrong these primers could still work as well as my favorite ones, but, I would have to change the other parts as well to make the groups that Iwas used to. This would cause me to waste precious powder and bullets. This is a little 411 from someone that does a lot of shooting. More next week.

week
Now I will tell you about the parts of a .300 wm there are 4 parts case, primer, powder, and a bullet. these things are very important. The primer is the most important(at distances of more than 600yds)I shoot more than that. I Shoot golf balls at 900yds. about 50-75% of the time. The primer starts the process of ingition. I was use to getting my favorite primer when I needed it,but after Obama won the ammo industry was over run with buying of parts. I have to leave my grand daughter want to play. Sorry.
